A large teak swim platform leads up to a garage capable of storing a 3.25m tender, perfect for getting out on the water. On either side, there are starboard steps leading to the side deck, while three portside steps lead to the unique asymmetrical cockpit. By offsetting the cockpit to starboard, Absolute has created an enormous amount of extra space, allowing more guests and free, uncongested movement throughout the main deck. A long J-shaped sofa sits starboard, wrapped around a large teak table so you can enjoy sea views as you eat an al fresco meal. A large sunpad sits on the transom, ideal for lounging in the sun. A portside cabinet holds a pop-up TV and a wet bar with a barbecue, sure to fire up the party, while a large sunpad sits on the transom, awaiting sunbathers. A retractable roof shelters this area when desired.
The foredeck on the 64 STY is one of the features that sets it apart from other boats in its class. A large three-person sunpad sits forward, with enough room to easily walk around it. Aft, you’ll find a chic white sofa with a gleaming teak dining table – the perfect place to sit with a cocktail, facing the bow, looking out to the sea as waves dance in your peripheral vision. If desired, an umbrella can be fixed into the table to supply shade.
Glazed sliding doors can be opened from port and starboard, allowing the salon to extend seamlessly into the cockpit. Step inside and you’ll find C-shaped sofa and a pop-up table. Because it sits immediately in front of the seating area, the helmstation is a distinct space that stays in contact with the rest of the salon. Equipped two soft-touch navigation screens, a domotic system, a steering wheel, autopilot wand, and other necessities. A sunroof above allows in light and fresh air, enhancing the whole salon. The port side of the main deck stretches from the cockpit to the helm, open space bedecked with rich sideboards, one of which has a pull-out TV.
Below deck and amidships, you will find a full-beam owner’s cabinet with open-view windows on either side. Well-lit and comfortable, it is the perfect place to seek solitude from the main deck. A VIP suite in the bow features a double bed and an en suite bathroom, while a third cabin with two single beds has private access to the day head. A combination washer/dryer is hidden in a cabinet beneath the companionway, perfect for longer trips. An aft cabin with access from the cockpit is available for crew.
The 64 STY was originally equipped with two standard Volvo Penta D11 engines with IPS pod drives reaching 31 knots max, but subsequent models were produced with an impressive four engines.
